Gas Masks and Lovely Ladies

I can't help but jump around giddy when a shoot comes together as well as this next one did.

I have known Nancy for years and it seems we have a habit of only getting together once a year. When we do though. . . MAGIC! Nancy and Elle came into the studio to do some creative shots and this is the 3 sets we shot.  With Elle's incredible makeup skills, Nancy's natural ability in front of the camera and my awesome stage hand Stoo the shoot went flawlessly!

Brad Blackrat Smith

So after seeing them for the first time play with The Creepshow I wondered how I could meet these guys and talk them into some photos.  I realized I went to high school with the sax player and well . . . the lead singer/guitar player Brad is a pretty approachable guy. We chatted over some Star Bucks and decided that it would be in our best interst to team up and make some magic.

Vicki Martin - channel your inner lady gaga

We really didn't mean for her to look so much like Lady Ga Ga but I think we ended up loving it anyway. All you need is a sexy blonde and a lace body suit and BAM there you have it. Elle Munsta - Bday death wish

My beautiful and crazy talented friend Elle came by on her Bday to spend some time with me and I decided what better way to spend your bday but in front of the camera. So we dressed her up in some good ol' PVC and look like your flesh is rotting off your bones.

She of course was down being as insane as I am and this was the result!

The Blackrats & The Creepshow 2010

THE CREEPSHOW Rocked out at Halifax's Coconut Grove a little while back and I am sadly just getting on these photos now. Someone should really give me a swift kick in the bum for not getting on them sooner. I had just bought my brand new 7D and this concert was my test drive of its awesome low light capturing skills.

The kick ass group THE BLACKRATS were one of the bands that opened for The Creepshow and got the crowed hyped up with there horrorbily style and wicked acoustics.

Between jumping around, dancing, holding up mike stands and trying to avoid the mosh pit, I got a few shots of the bands that night.
